Virginia Vitiello, Ph.D completed her doctoral studies at the University of Miami and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for the Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning at the University of Virginia. Her research interests include the effects of self-regulation, approaches to learning, and classroom quality on school readiness among at-risk preschool children. She now works as the Director of Research and evaluation for Teachstone, a non-profit organization that aims to improve education quality. She contributes to the inCLASS project by analyzing pilot and field study data, as well as preparing related conference presentations and manuscripts.
